Vaja läheb:
2 muna
120 ml piima
120 ml jahu
näpuotsatäis soola
natuke suhkrut (originaalretsepti järgi peaks magusus tulema vaid tuhksuhrust, aga mulle meeldib selline variant rohkem, kus ka tainas natuke magus on).
pannile - 2 spl võid
peale - 2 spl tuhksuhkrut
Valmistamine:
1. Pane ahi 245C peale soojenema ja pann ahju kuumenema (traditsiooniliselt kasutatakse selle küpsetise jaoks malmpanni, kui seda pole, siis pole hullu, aga tavalise panni puhul ma seda panni eelsoojendamist ei teeks).
2. Samal ajal vahusta munad ja lisa piim, lisa jahu jm. ained ning vahusta ühtlaseks.
3. Võta pann ahjust välja ja vähenda kuumust 220C peale, pane või pannile ja lase ära sulada (jälgi, et panni sisemus oleks võiga kaetud).
4. Vala taigen pannile ja küpseta kuni pealt kuldpruun ja ilusti puhvis, u. 12 minutit. Võta välja ja raputa tuhksuhkruga üle.

1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup sifted all-purpose flour
a bit sugar (original recipe does not have this and all sweetness should come from powdered sugar, but I like when the pancake itself is a bit sweet too).
1 pinch salt
2 tablespoons confectioners' sugar for dusting
2 tablespoons butter for the pan
1. Place a 10 inch cast iron skillet inside oven and preheat oven to 475 degrees F (245 degrees C) (if you are using regular pan, then I would no do the skillet heating).1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup sifted all-purpose flour

2 tablespoons confectioners' sugar for dusting
2 tablespoons butter for the pan
In a medium bowl, beat eggs with a whisk until light. Add milk and stir. Gradually whisk in other dry ingredients.
2. Remove skillet from oven and reduce oven heat to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C). Melt butter in hot skillet so that inside of skillet is completely coated with butter.
3. Pour all the batter in the skillet and return skillet to oven.
4. Bake until puffed and lightly browned, about 12 minutes. Remove promptly and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
